BEYOND CURRICULUM

Every Student, on admission is placed in one of these Houses.

Each House is headed by one boy and one girl known as House Captains. A member of the staff assisted by several other teachers act as the House Warden. Points are awarded to students throughout the year for extracurricular activities, games, and sports. At the end of the year, the house gaining the highest points is awarded the trophy.

Any student representing a house that he/she does not belong to, will be disqualified.

Rules for inner house Activities

+  One student can participate in maximum two individual activities and two group activities.

+  Number of participants in group activity should be more than eight and less than ten and for G.D.; Mock Parliament, Quizzes, Cryptic Crossword team should comprise of three Members (One Student from Each Class).

+  For individual activities a team should comprise of two participants from respective houses.

+  In each group activity there should be one participant from each house.

Classroom teaching gives information and knowledge to students, but insight formation takes place through real ife experiences and interactions with personalities. So the students of this school are regulariy exposed to knowledgeable persons whose words motivate and inspire them. Guest speakers from different fields enrich the attitudes, aptitude and critical thinking of students which help them become valuable citizens of society.

Apart from home, School is the only place where a student spends much more time surrounded by a lot of other students. It is not just a temple of knowledge, but a place where every student starts his journey of identifying one's self.To support our students in this process we facilitate them with a lot of clubs which includes

         + Music and Dance Club  

         + Dramatics Club  

         + Legal Literacy Club  

         + Science Exhibition 

To speedup the scientific temperament of the students, the school encourages them to participate in Science Exhibition. The young scientists present models, projects, presentations etc. and with other schools.

The school bids a ceremonious adieu to the students of class X and XIl for their bright and prosperous future in the month of February.

Students can avail the school transport subject to the availability of seats. The routes and stops of the school buses have been prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all students. The school will not entertain any request for changes of bus-stops and bus- routes to suit an individual's convenience. Parents should consult the school transport in- charge for necessary details regarding bus-stops and bus routes. Bus fee will be charged for twelve months in an academic year. The charges per pupil per month is given in the fee schedule available in the school office.

BUS RULES

      +  Bus facility will be provided on a 'first-come-first serve' basis.

      +  A student using the school bus is expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus. The student has to be on the correct                 side of the arriving bus.

      +  Buses will not wait for the late comers. It is mandatory for all students availing bus to carry their bus ID card with them.

      +  Students should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives and should not rush towards the entry door of the bus till it has come to a complete halt.

      +  Drivers are authorized to stop buses only at the designated stops, unless directed otherwise by the bus charge.

      +  No student should move around or put any part of his/her body out of the bus.

      +  Students are not allowed to eat in the bus.

      +  Courteous behaviour is expected from students at all times and unruly behaviour is strictly prohibited. Students who resort to vandalism will be debarred from bus            facility.

      +  Bus teachers are responsible for maintaining discipline inside the bus. Serious offences inside the bus should be reported to the Principal immediately.

      +  Parents are requested not to get into an argument with the teachers, conductor or driver present in the bus.

      +  Students, who miss the allotted bus, should not try to board any other bus. In cases it is the responsibility of parents to drop their wards to the school.

      +  ln case of necessity the bus teacher or school authority can be contacted.

      +  Piease do not get into an argument with the teachers, conductor or driver present in the bus. In case of problem, please give a written complaint to the school office.
